With 30 years of combined experience in early childhood education, Shawna and Jill saw a growing need in North Idaho for more quality preschools and childcare centers. Both fueled by their passion and desire to create a safe and nurturing space that is glorifying to God, Little Explorers Learning Academy was created.
Their mission for Little Explorers is to provide a well-rounded, hands-on education through the use of play. “Learning through play” builds more complex, higher-order skills such as creativity, critical thinking, collaboration, and problem-solving. We strongly believe that play-based learning sets up each child to develop emotionally, physically, socially, & spiritually.
